Nato tankers fired at in Islamabad; 6 dead

AT least six persons were killed and several others injured as some unknown assailants opened fire on NATO oil tankers in Islamabad, reported a private TV channel late Sunday, reported a private TV channel.
NATO oil tankers were passing through GT Road near DHA Phase-II when some armed assailants opened fire on them. As a result, six persons died on the spot and five others sustained severe injuries. The injured were rushed to nearby hospital, said Rescue 1122 sources.
As many as 28 oil tankers caught fire.
