Nine people were killed and nine others wounded when an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded inside a passenger bus in Matalam, North Cotabato yesterday morning.
Senior Superintendent Cornelio Salinas, North Cotabato police director, said the bomb exploded at 10:30 a.m.
Ex-muslim insurgents try to extort money from bus owners this way. Pretty weird way to send a message if yo ask me. I lived in a city where all buses were paying mafia to operate, never heard of anything like that before.
